Sizing for Plus Size
By 2030, global trends predict that 38% of adults will be overweight, and 20% will be obese, reinforcing the urgent need for inclusive fashion. Yet, the industry continues to struggle with fit, style, and accessibility, leaving many plus-size women underserved.
Recognizing this gap, I undertook extensive research to identify the core fit and sizing challenges faced by Indian plus-size consumers. This effort culminated in pioneering India’s first standardized size chart for plus-size women as part of the 'INDIAsize Project,' setting a foundation for greater inclusivity in fashion.
